A small part of the sea-serpent bench which snakes all around the public square - enclosing an area of around 160x120 feet on three sides. A close-up of this was shown in the first pictiure of this series.
Park Guell is a public Park situated on the hill of El Carmel in the Grácia district of Barcelona. Created by Guadí between 1900 and 1914 the complex of towers, galleries, pavilions and decorative landscaping contains many of his typical architectural stylings - organic buildings and root-like supports, colourful mosaics and elaborate ornate roofs. Gaudí lived in one of the Parks two houses from from 1906 until his death in 1926.
